Embodied Sovereignty
A weekly practice in living from full, powerful presence.
What is Embodied Sovereignty?
Most of us have gotten very good at editing ourselves, softening the want, swallowing the reaction, shrinking the desire, because we're afraid of being rejected, or of making someone else uncomfortable.
Embodied Sovereignty is a weekly group practice built around showing up as your full, unedited self, your desires, your intuitions, your emotions, your body, and discovering the freedom and power that comes from no longer needing to shrink in order to belong.
Sovereignty, here, lives in connection. It's what becomes possible once you stop managing yourself to keep the room comfortable. When you show up fully, and someone else does too, you get to meet each other as you actually are. That's where real intimacy lives, in being fully yourselves, together.
"Our expression becomes transmission.
Our words carry resonance rather than explanation.
Our presence speaks louder than performance."
- Katherine Zorensky, Axioms of Grace
What We Practice Together
Through guided practices, Circling inspired group processes, and embodied exploration, you'll learn to stay present with your emotions rather than escaping them, to express your truth without losing connection, and to hold multiple truths at once such as grief and gratitude, anger and love, fear and courage.
You’ll Learn To
Recognize when you’re in truth, and when you’re not.
Stay present with discomfort rather than escaping or shutting down.
Cultivate emotional literacy and fluidity, the ability to move gracefully between emotions.
Express your authentic voice, even when it feels risky.
Deepen empathy and relational presence through group practice and feedback.
Practice being fully yourself and fully with others, at the same time.
Working With the Body
Alongside the relational practices, we bring in the body itself, not as a metaphor, but as a messenger. The body holds its own intelligence, and it often knows what we're feeling before we have words for it: the tension in a jaw, a leg that won't stop moving, an eye that twitches. These aren't distractions from the real work. They're the doorway into it.
So before we ask "what are you feeling," we start simpler: what's happening in the body right now? Some weeks that means a few minutes of movement to arrive in the body before we drop in together; other times it's just pausing to notice what the body is already saying, underneath the words we're reaching for.
